Phoebe + 6
Phoebe came to Lost Angels one year ago, boy has she been through a lot in her short life. She was found as a tiny pup wandering along a busy street covered in fleas. Two LAAR volunteers found her and took her in. When Phoebe under went her spay surgery she had a reaction to the anesthesia and woke up blind and unable to walk. We did not give up on her and the foster parents took her home and gave her a chance to recover, which she did... COMPLETELY!! :) We are proud to say we have finally found our little Phoebe her perfect home. A single dad and his 5 children (from age 11 to 21) are now Phoebe's family. They take her jogging (6 miles the other day) and swimming and of course reserve plenty of snuggle time at the end of those tiring days.
This is what it's all about :)

Benny's 2nd Miracle!
From Benny's wonderful foster dad Ronnie!
I am happy to tell you that Benny was adopted yesterday. Benny is the miracle dog that came out of Polk County with pneumonia and almost died before we got it under control. He turned out to be a wonderful, loving dog, who loves people and dogs. His new family are four women and three cats. His new Mom just lost her Lost Angels dog after 9 years and wanted to give another dog the love she has to give. Benny did well on the home visit, even with the cats, so I am very hopeful he will be happy for the rest of his long life. Jacob and I miss Benny, but we are grateful for the chance to know him and the chance to help him find his happy forever home.
Thanks,
Ronnie
