Bear in his Camper!

Double Double Rescue - Mozart & Jenni

This is Mozart and Jenni.  They were Lost Angels rescues years ago.  They found a wonderful home and enjoyed their time there.  Their owner became terminally ill a few months ago and her only concern was finding a new home for her babies.  Lost Angels stepped up for these two pups again and found them a wonderful new home where they are safe and can stay together!!

From their new owners:
Mozart fell a sleep in a Banjo case of one of my students. He loves confinement in pillow cases as well as Banjo cases.
Mozart likes to sit at my left side and Jenni likes to sit at Carol’s right side in our recliners.
Jenni enjoying “coffee with Carol in the morning on our back porch.
Jenni is a delight and so full of love and softness for all.

Mozart and Jenni are great Pups. They get at least one 2 mile walk everyday and often end the day
with a “pee” walk every evening. They like to go to bed about 10 pm.

Please thank their previous care giver for doing such a good job of raising them. They have a new vet
and are all “checked up!”

Duke finds his Fur-ever

Duke was found on the side of the road emaciated and limping in July 2013.  He was a very sad sight.  As the foster parents who found him pulled over to pick him up he needed help to get into the car he was so weak.  After a few dogs biscuits he went right to sleep for the rest of the car ride.  We don't think this boy was going to make it much longer.  Not only was he emaciated - he had an infection in his leg that smelled and looked awful.  Lost Angels took him in and got him healthy.  It was apparent he had never been in a house before and was scared of things we think of as normal - like the TV and drawers opening.  Over a few months he grew to understand a home and affection.

Yesterday Duke went to his forever home with Sienna.  He is absolutely loving the individual attention.  Duke is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known and I could not be more happy for him.  This is what Lost Angels does - we take a dog in a desperate situation and we give them a new life.

Batman's Crimes...

This is Batman (the food stealer) in his Halloween costume.  He is a good, sweet boy who loves to ride in the car, go for walks, get belly rubs, and when he is mad because his family leaves him (which is rare because he gets to go just about everywhere) he scours the kitchen for any items left within his reach (which is further than you would think)!!

Batman has lived with his new family for several years now.  He was rescued after his owners ran him over and then left him broken and bleeding in their yard for two weeks before calling Lost Angels to help.  What a lucky boy he is!

Shyla & Her Boy

Wanted to send you a few pictures of Grey and Shyla. We had a family pirate hunt and so the two pictures of Grey and Shyla walking are from that day - I think it's funny that they both seem to be doing the same thing in each picture - when she's looking on the ground so is he, when he is walking so is she. The other one is from a day that Grey wasn't feeling well she stays really close to him when he's sick it's really sweet.

Sammy

Sammy came to our home two years ago. We had just lost, Bruno, one of our Chihuahuas and Mia, our remaining female was miserable. She could not get enough attention. We decided to adopt a new playmate for her. Sammy has been a great addition to our canine family. He is affectionate and has become Mia's best buddy.

Levi Living the Life

Levi was previously Scruffy aka Scruffy Dude.  He was found as a stray and was fostered with us for a short time before his new mommy came along.

Foster aka Peppy

Peppy (previously known as Foster) came to us from a high kill shelter.  His foster mom Dana took great care of him until this wonderful family came along.  We are so happy for Peppy! : )

Hi Dana

We sure do remember you.  We actually went to the Petco where we met you and found our "Peppy" aka Foster a couple of weeks ago but we got there too late and you all were gone.  As you can see we renamed him and he had no problem with his new name right from the start.  He is just an absolute pleasure.  Full of character and just the sweetest little guy.  He and Jaxson hit it off and are the best of friends.  Peppy actually gets Jaxson motivated and moving and they play which is something Jaxson didn't do.  We adopted Jaxson in February 2012.

Peppy is just loved by everyone that meets him including my son's dog Dixon (also a rescue) who comes to visit sometimes and he and Peppy have fun.

Peppy and Jaxson are our "babies".  We take them just about everywhere with us.

We are planning on going to the November 9th event at the park in Lutz.  Maybe we will see you there.  If not, we will try the Petco another time.

I've attached some photos for you.

Love our Buddy

This is Buddy. We adopted him 5 years ago from Alison in Brandon when she was with Lost Angels. He was a little stubby chubby boy then and now he's our bigger stubby chubby boy! We love him so much!
Thanks for all you do and all the sweet angels you save!

Oscar

We started to foster Oscar, previously known as Riley in June and our life has not been the same ever since. He is thought to be 10 months old and oh yes... he is a puppy - alright! He plays and nibbles and jumps most of the day. He loves walks and car rides, soft fluffy beds and loves to "dig" and hide under the bed covers. He loves his big sister Pandora, whom we also adopted from Lost Angels. Pandora is now 5 but Oscar has turned her back to being 1 or 2. They chase each other and jump on couches, pull each others cheeks, sleep together... it's a 24/7 hour party!

Thank you LAR for giving us the chance once again to be loved by one of your angels.

Wags!

We just came from Harley's yearly vet checkup and we are thrilled beyond words that he is now heartworm free.  The slow kill method totally worked on him!  If any potential adopters are skittish about adopting a heartworm positive pet please feel free to have them check with us.  Hope everything is going well with you and yours.  Harley is still thrilled that he adopted us and enjoys being spoiled in every way.

Silly Stella!

Just wanted to share an updated photo of Stella...she is still the boss of the house and has developed a real lovey dovey affair with our older dog, they are inseparable, almost to the point of silliness. She just cannot get close enough to him some days.

I hope all is well you and Lost Angels.

Bear goes blue

Bear gets his nails done :)

Friday, July 12, 2013

I just wanted to touch base and give you an update on Squeekers (now named Rainer).  He has been such an incredible addition to my family and I adore him!  He makes me laugh and smile every single day!  We go on 3-4 mile walks every morning then he spends the rest of the day playing with Riley or napping.  He loves to sleep under the covers at night . . . and will crawl out each morning to tell me good morning and get some lovin'.  He does have the Chihuahua trait of being protective of me . . . and he thinks he's a big dog, not a 6lb little bit!  I've attached two pictures of the boys so you can see them together.  One is of them on my work chair and the other is them on the couch sleeping together.  Thank you again for all you do!
