Our Brave Soldiers & Meatball
Even with all our brave soldiers go through while fighting for our freedoms... they have hearts big enough to still care for the animals they come across.
Meatball is the adorable little puppy in the picture who was found and cared for by a group of soldiers. Unfortunately, the enemy found meatball and intentionally ran him over with a tank... twice.
The wife of the soldier who is pictured here is bringing a basket for our silent auction at this Sunday's event to be auctioned off in loving memory of Meatball.
We also want to thank the soldiers for everything they do for our country, and the animals they come across.

RIP Kitt
RIP Kitt.
Our beloved Kitt was put to rest on March 17, 2011. He had heart problems for the last few years, but we believe he had a stroke early yesterday morning. He may have had his eyes removed but his loving nature was one of a kind.
Thank you for giving us 4 1/2 wonderful years with the best dog three boys could ever have.

Molly's New Life
She is wonderful!! Molly is very adjusted... I truly believe she would be happy anywhere they treated her good. Molly just wants to play and Torri just wants to avoid her because her nose is out of joint. She will just have to get over it. Molly eats very good and is so playful and sweet. We are very fortunate to get her. Thank you sooooo much!

Yoshi Laughing at Mom's Hat
Hi it's me Yoshi! Mom took me last Sunday (March 13, 2011) to my first Seminole Heights Farmer's Market. The guy who does the Seminole Patch was asking people to pose and gave mom this big blowup hat for St. Patrick's Day. I'm the pup she is holding and am laughing myself silly because mom looked so strange. Thought you would like to see another one of my adventures.
Love,
Yoshi

YOSHI NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
Yoshi is 5lbs and 2yrs old. She was hit by a car and her owners had no money to care for her. She has a diaphragmatic hernia and a broken palvis. She would have died with out the expensive surgery that Lost Angels just had done for her.
This little girl still has a long way to go in her recovery process, so please consider donating to help us care for this little girl who deserves another chance at life.

Yo
Hi it's me Yoshi,
Well it is now a little over a month and a half and I love my new family...and they love me too! My sister Katie (in the pictures with me) and I are best friends. I really, really love her and the feeling is mutual. We do everything side by side whether it is going for one of our multiple daily walks, taking a nap under mom's desk while she is working, or even playing. Over the past week or so Katie and I have been playing a new game called "whose toy is it." I pull one out of the toy basket and run and then she chases me...or vice versa. Lots of growling (play of course) and running and jumping and sliding across the tile floors. We can do this for a long time and then we both crash. Mom doesn't seem to mind at all - in fact she laughs a lot. Oh heads up everyone: mom has found a booth at the Saturday Ybor Farmers Market called Maxx and Gigi's. Catherine (the owner there) makes homemade doggie treats: all organic, no preservatives and delicious. My favorite is t
he liver bacon brownies followed by peanut butter chewies followed by chicken bacon dog bones followed by....well you get the picture. As soon as we come in from a walk instead of running in the kitchen and looking at the cookie jar, we now run in and wait for mom to open the fridge - patiently sitting I might add. Anyway I just want everyone to know how happy I am and how loved I feel. And I also want you to know that I love my Lost Angels foster mom, Tina, who took such good care of me and made sure I found my forever home. Mom took me up to PetCo recently and you should have seen the joy of Tina's face. She must have been happy to see me too because Tina covered me with kisses. Wow what a great life!!
Love, Yoshi
