Happy New Year from Chloe

I just wanted to let you know how I am doing. My new home is full of love and fun. We just celebrated something called "Christmas" and I had the most packages to open of anyone! Santa brought me a Chirpi chew. It is something very hard and natural, made in the Himalayas of yak milk, lime juice and something no dog can chew through for a long time. I fooled them, I had it gone in two days! I also got real deer antlers. They are so yummy and strong. My mom says all I get is calcium when I chew them up. That is good because I am not eating plastic or anything bad. Mom and dad always think of that. I got a huge bag of pure chicken jerky from my new friend, Poppy. She is a multipoo. I got her a stuffed husky... she calls it her boyfriend. I got King balls that squeak, a piggy that squeaks, and a bear that squeaks. Can you tell I have a thing for squeaky toys? I also got a ton of different treats.
I have a cousin now and she is about a month younger than me. Her name is Sky, and she is a weimaraner. We have play dates and she comes to my house to play in the back yard. We play very hard and have a lot of fun. Her mom, auntie Stella, made me special natural cookies from scratch. I never knew what oatmeal was before eating them! It goes well with the applesauce and bananas. Oh boy, I have the goodies!
I have learned to sit and stay, I never go potty anywhere but in the back yard. I listen to "no" all of the time, and I love to fetch the ball! I go on walks every day and I have found the best place to chase these awful things called ducks. They hiss at me, and aren't friendly. I have a lot of new friends. My boy, Ian, takes me to the beach. I love to play with shells. I just carry them around and toss them, but my favorite thing is to bring them home and hide them in the yard and try to find them again.
I have a new bed, but the couches are more comfortable, especially when there are other people on them. I take care of my "Gaga," she is very old and has Parkinson's, but she uses her hands to pet me and that makes everyone very happy. She loves me and I love to sleep with my head on her lap and keep her warm.
I am so happy with my family. Mom and dad always ask someone, named God, wha tthey every did to deserve me. We love each other so much, it feels like I have always belonged here. Thank you for finding a family for me. I love you for what you have done for me. I pray every day that the lost, abandoned, and homeless pups find you to help them. Happy New Year! With love from the bottom of my heart, Chloe (the dog formerly known as Kiki)

Normie

This is Normie that we adopted out 2 years ago. He's an adorable, sweet boy that has lots of energy. Mary Ann does agility with her dogs, and I knew it was a perfect fit for Normie! I talked her into fostering him, hoping that they would adopt - AND THEY DID!
What a GREAT home he has!!

Bear Boy!

Just wanted to tell you Merry Christmas and let you know that Bear is doing great! He is such a happy dog and so smart. In 5 minutes of working with him on the leash he was walking by my side and if I stop he backs up behind me and sits down all on his own. Thanks again for being so good to him while he was with you.

Felisha

Felisha came to Lost Angels 5 1/2 years ago from HCAS a MESS.. We had to get her out of there in 24 hours or she would be put down. SHe was so matted and dirty and had a bad case of anemia. Now she is living the life. THis is her after her Christmas grooming. Her Daddy bought her a new Santa hat!!

Chanel and Prince

It's been a whole year since Chanel and Prince have been adopted! They have both brought so much Love & Joy to our home!
I would like to encourage everyone to adopt an older pet! They are so loving and deserving of a good home! I can't imagine a home without pets. We had lost our beloved "Pucci" and I didn't think we could go through becoming attached to another dog, but the truth is: There are so many homeless pets that need a good, loving home and pet lovers have allot of love to give! It's what we do. It's what we sign up for. We love them with all we have and they give that love back ten-fold!

Prince & Molly

Just wanted you to know that Prince and Molly are wonderful and we are excited for Santa to visit them! Yesterday we had twelve kids over to make gingerbread houses and the dogs were GREAT! They cuddled and nuzzled with the kids all day long. Thank you again for everything.

Mork, Mindy and Fluffy

Pictures of Mork, Mindy (adopted from Lost Angels) and our cat, Fluffy. We've had the dogs for 5 years now and I'm so glad we took them both. I'm sure they are too. They are doing wonderfully, but getting older. They are between 12 and 14 and Mindy has Cushings Syndrome, but the medication is working well for her.

Keep up the great work. I'm so glad we have organizations like Lost Angels to save these innocent animals!

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a joyous and successful New Year.

Caesar

In October 2005, The Tobias household was forever changed with the addition of our beloved Jack Russell/Basset Hound mix, Caesar. It was a big decision to decide to adopt another dog after losing our faithful friend Leather, the wonder-cocker spaniel, but alas it was time.

Caesar has been a true friend. He is entertaining and brilliant. Chris, Gabe and I take great pride to make sure everyone we meet and come in contact with know and love him as much as we do!

Here he is on a chilly December day, "sunning" on the back porch.....ah....the life! He is a special boy and he knows it. In return he gives us endless hours of smiles and giggles and material for great stories and quips.

Thank you, Lost Angels for all you do. Our hope is that all adoption stories could go as well as ours did. HAIL CAESAR, we love you.........

The Fight for Freedom

LeAnn is a little Shih Tzu. She lived in a home at one time. Then this poor little girl found herself in a kill shelter. Everyone walked by her not giving her a thought. See, this little girl had a hole in her eye. (yes, you seen that right) a hole in her eye. Some how this little girl was hurt and nobody wanted to help her. Till Lost Angels step up. With a tear in her eye an Angels held her and said "NO Problem, she will be to the Vet in the morning". The next day off to Dade City Vet hosp she went. She received her home again chip and checked by the Vet. Sad to say, She did need her eye removed. In only a few days LeAnn is off running around with no worries. She is now safe, happy and healthy thanks to all those that care.. (she is looking for forever home. See her on our web site.)
