Cat Nap

Hi Jackie,

I thought you would enjoy this photo of Stella and her boys, Rudy & Reggie, even the cat get in on the nap. Stella cannot help but chase the cat around the house at least once a day. At first it seemed the cat was scared of her but lately we have seen the cat chase Stella and realize it is a two way game. Stella is very happy and has taken over as the queen bee of the house. Thanks again! Laura

Rudy - From Kennel to Couch : )

Rudy was rescued by Lost Angels from a local kill shelter.  At 7 months old, he had lived most of his life in a kennel and could barley walk.  His legs had become deformed due to the extended time of not using them.  With good nutrition and exercise the vet believes Rudy will make a full recovery, and now he has the perfect family to see him through!

The Joy of Micah

We adopted Micah years ago through Lost Angels - I knew he was my boy from the second I met him. We had brought our first dog Penelope to the visit with Micah's foster parent to see how they reacted to each other ad us. The visit went wonderfully and we brought him home with us that night. He is an absolute joy and sweetheart - very obedient, well mannered and generally just wants to be cuddled 24/7!
When we adopted him, he was HW+ - I'm thrilled to say that he is now HW negative! We're so grateful for Lost Angels giving him a chance to be adopted by my family - we love him so much.

Maxy finds his Forever Home!

Attached are the pictures, I took at your house, with your new boy.  I am very grateful that you adopted Maxy.  I know you will give him the same great life you gave Ginger and the long, happy life he deserves.  Maxy looks a little sad in the photos, but he was really acting pretty comfortable with everyone in the new environment.  Please call me anytime if there is anything I can do to help with him.

Thanks,
    Ronnie

Stanley

Here are a few picture of Stanley. He loves to hold his leash on our walks, and after our walk, he sprawls out on the couch for his nap. And his second favorite place to lay is on my yoga mat.

We love him very much!

Rundo

We are so in love with Rundo (formerly Ozzie with LAAR).  It's been almost 2 months since we got him and at this point i think i can say that he has shown all his colors to us.  He is very playful and loves to be chased around the house.  He loves all of the squeeky toys that we have gotten him but especially the one that he and his brother, Lucky the Lab, got from Santa.  He gets very excited when I start putting on my jacket because he knows that we are going for a walk. He is unbelievably loyal and follows my every move around the house. When I had him and Lucky groomed for the first time I asked that they take off a little more hair around his eyes and face and boy, he is a looker!  :)  He has such a sweet face and big black eyes that can just melt your heart.  He is well mannered, loving and goofy and we love it.  Thank you so much for everything and for arranging a date for Ozzie to meet and pick us.  We are in love.  :)

Christmas Eve with Grandma!

Simon (aka Rascal) and I celebrated our fifth anniversary thanks to Lost Angels.  He was quite a challenge at first but well worth the blood, sweat and tears. ;o)    As you see here, Grandma’s rendition of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” had him mesmerized on Christmas Eve just before he settled in for a long winter’s nap.  I will be forever grateful to Lost Angels for saving him from a kill shelter, working so hard to find him a home and talking me off the ledge a few times (LOL).  Like a fine wine, he just keeps improving with age!

Benny/Dojo Update

The attached pictures where taken over the last 2 months

Dojo's Story adpoted 11/2005

Just a little over 7 years ago Benny (we call him Dojo) selected me to adopt him. I say selected because he "marked" my leg the moment I got near him. So off we went. At the time of adopting Dojo I was told he had heartworms. They really affected his body but not his spirit. He loved to go on his walks but developed a bad cough and eventually I got him treated about a year later. I had researched the treatment plan and the risk factor was high but Dojo was not phased one bit. He is Heartworm free now but he does have some lung scarring which causes the cough but it does not slow him down!

Dojo is a bit of a traveller as well. He has been to Canada once, Bermuda twice, all over the state and Georgia. Then he moved into a new house with his own fenced in yard where he loves to walk around or just catch some sun. He is my number one pup as I call him, he follows me from room to room and can sleep for hours in the room with me but if I leave for too long he causally struts around looking for me. He tells me the time as well (strangely only his dinner time) as he paws at me or becomes super playful as if to say "hey I will work for food". I love my pup and although we guess he is around 12 years old he still is just as full as life as ever. Sure he is a bit hard of hearing and has a cataract but he is still the top dog and has brought nothing but joy to my life over the last 7 years. I can never thank Lost Angels enough for what they do but know Dojo has had a great life since then and will continue to as well.

Sincerely Jade Darrell
